lots and lots of FOAM...and some silicone by AlieTheKitsune lots and lots of FOAM...and some silicone by AlieTheKitsune
here is a group picture of all the foam bases im working on. the angry one is one of my personal projects. i cosplay fullsuit of Ifrit from FF10 .the teo on the top are partial commissions from FA. the unshaped one on the back is a head commission and the rest are fullsuits

had trouble carving all these out since i busted my right hand pretty bad. it doesnt look like a fracture but it sure feels like one. my pinky and middle finger will make a nasty cracking noise when i bend them X0
it sucks...allot

i can still work with my hand like this it just hurts. il probably get it checked by a doctor if it doesnt get any better by next week

Around $110. Try noting or emailing her. She doesn't usually reply to questions she has already answered on the same page.

No. It's actually Ifrit from FF10. I can see why you thought that though. It kinda looks like him with the scar down the eye

Q; What did you use for the eyelashes on that one on the top in the back? I know some people use pleather or black foamies but I just wanted to know if you used something else because it looks great! :D

Upholstry. I'm not positive that that's what she, personally used, but a lot of other fursuit-makers use upholstry, usually 1" thick. Hope I helped! :D

Do you leave the back of your foam heads open?
Never thought about that since foam heads are often a little....oversized, especially in the back ^^
I think I might try that too....

By the way, you have a great feeling for proportions and face expressions! C:

Thanks :3 and yeah. I don't add foam to the Bach of the heads unless they are very large round heads like the MLP pony suit.

The one on the far left, the one which is uncarved with the drawing. Do you just draw it on thick foam and cut it out? how do you get it like the others then? it just confuses me. Explain would help lots XD

i start out by drawing the face in foam and use that peice for the very center then i trace that piece twice on a thinner 3" foam excludin the muzzle (forehead and cheeks) glue them together and i grab my handy electric bread knife and carve away the basic shape :D i use scissors for detailing and smoothing out features
